Authentic Care for Every Age
SPECIALIZED KIDS DENTAL CARE FROM INFANCY THROUGH THE KIDULT YEARS
Most dental offices stop caring once your kid turns 18. We do not. We coined the term "kidults" for a reason. Our practice is built to serve patients at every developmental stage, from infants cutting their first teeth to young adults who have grown up with us and are not ready to leave. Kids dental care in West Denver should feel personal, not like a conveyor belt. We focus on preventive habits, behavioral support for anxious patients, and prompt emergency care when the unexpected happens. Every visit is designed to build confidence and a lifelong relationship with dental health.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions About Kids to College Pediatric Dentistry
  • How old should my child be for their first dental visit?

Kids to College welcomes patients starting in infancy. The general recommendation is to schedule a first oral exam when your child's first tooth appears or by their first birthday, whichever comes first. Starting early helps establish healthy habits, gives our team a chance to spot any early concerns, and builds a positive relationship with dental care before anxiety has a chance to set in. Early visits are also a great opportunity for parents to get guidance on things like teething, thumb-sucking, and proper brushing techniques for little ones.
  • Can you work with children who are scared or have had bad dental experiences before?

Yes, behavioral dental care is one of our core services. We specialize in working with kids who are nervous, scared, or have had difficult experiences at other offices. Our team adjusts its approach to make every child feel safe and supported rather than rushing through appointments. Whether your child is a first-timer with butterflies or an older kid who has had a genuinely bad experience elsewhere, we are equipped to help.
  • Is Kids to College Pediatric Dentistry locally owned or part of a corporate chain?

Kids to College is locally owned and operated. The practice is not affiliated with any private equity-backed dental service organization or corporate chain. Clinical and operational decisions are made by the people who actually see your child, not by remote shareholders. This matters because it means your child's care is never driven by volume targets or upselling incentives. Families who are tired of feeling like just another number at a big-box dental office consistently tell us this is one of the main reasons they switched to our practice.
  • What should I do if my child has a dental emergency outside of regular office hours?

Pediatric dental emergencies, including tooth fractures, knocked-out teeth, and severe pain, are a primary service area for our practice. We emphasize prompt care for emergencies and are available to help when families face unexpected situations, including after-hours and late-night trauma cases. Our team is set up to respond to urgent situations because we know dental pain does not wait for business hours.
  • Do you continue treating patients once they turn 18 or head off to college?

We serve patients all the way through the college years and beyond. We use the term kidults for the young adults who have grown up with us and prefer staying with a trusted provider rather than starting over at an adult dental practice. There is no hard age cutoff at 18 here. If your young adult is comfortable with our team and wants to keep coming to Kids to College, we are happy to continue providing their care.
  • Do you have bilingual staff for Spanish-speaking families?

Yes, we have bilingual staff who provide care in both English and Spanish. Se Habla Español is a core part of how we serve the diverse families across West Denver and the Foothills. Linguistic accessibility matters to us because trust and communication are the foundation of good pediatric dental care. When parents and patients can fully understand what is happening and ask questions in their preferred language, the entire experience is better for everyone involved.
  • Which communities do your Littleton and Evergreen offices serve?

Our Littleton office serves families throughout the southwest Denver metro, including Ken Caryl, Morrison, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, Sterling Ranch, and Roxborough Park. Our Evergreen office serves the mountain and Foothills corridor, including Conifer, Pine Junction, Bailey, Kittredge, Golden, Genesee, Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Black Hawk, and Aspen Park. Between the two locations, we cover a wide stretch of West Denver and the surrounding communities.
  • What are your office hours, and will I reach a real person when I call?

Both locations are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. When you call during business hours, a real local staff member answers in less than a minute. We do not use automated phone systems, AI scheduling tools, or call centers. This is a deliberate choice because we believe families deserve a human on the other end of the line, especially when they are dealing with a nervous child or an urgent situation.
